This is my first cheer uniform order for a small private school (kinder - 8th grade). They want this top in navy blue and white (about 15 - 17 tops). I do have a GCC Jaguar IV cutter and heat press. What kind of materials can I use to go over those thick "V" shaped seams? They would want a white background with navy foreground. I do NOT want to have to embroider the edges because they are trying to keep the costs down. Plus, I have no idea how to do that :).

Any suggestions for the "V" seams. I don't want the design to look funky.

Thanks,
Di

The uniform is polyester but I'm worried the vinyl material, or whatever is suggested) will not seal well when going over the thick "V" seam. Or will this just not be an issue?

I did just email someone from stahls, thanks for the suggestions!!! Hopefully I'll hear back from them Monday.

Thanks,
di

If you are referring to the lightning lettering in the picture, that is an embroidered applique, not a heat press vinyl. Trying to do that with a 2 layer vinyl IMO is an unhappy customer in the making....

Your best bet if you are going to keep going down this street would be to downsize the lettering so it doesn't have to go over the seams.
