Cheapest Ringer Tees in the UK?

4049 Views 8 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Uncle Chenzo
Afternoon All,

I've only just started out and not yet registered as a company. I work full time and I'm still figuring out if my expansion into the world of T-shirts is even viable and worthwhile. so until i think i have a quality, commerically viable product, i probably won't register as a company. Just for the record I'm not even trading yet.

However part of my problem is finding cheap "Ringer" style T-shirts. The websites which don't require a business/VAT registeration are charging £3 -£2.50 (VAT exc) a piece.
Is there anyway else I can look for such t-shirts for a more competitive price?
I've looked at a few suggestions here, but the good ones seem to require business registration to access their price list.
So I'm in a catch 22 at the mo. Any thoughts greatfully accepted.

Not really much choice Im afraid, the bulk suppliers who can do you the best deals will want to see that you are wholesale business, to name a few
BTC,Elms and Elms, Ralawise, Penne Carrie, UK Leisurewear,
they will do pro forma accounts but are careful about supplying Business only.

Hi I'm a UK member,
Elms and Elms are the lowest priced,
I've had excellent service from:
www.pag-leisurewear.co.uk
I checked the website and the prices are not that cheap. Minimum is £2,and i can buy on any market in London a good quality plain t-shirt for £1. What i'm looking for is £0.50 per t-shirt.

Cheers
Elms do ts from £1.30 but 50p is very cheap. I've not seen any at that price, maybe going direct to the manufacture and buying in bulk.
Sorry I couldn't help

Good luck

Grab that deal. I dont think i have seen 50p in the last 2 years except maybe the odd deep discount clearance. The price of cotton is still very high at the moment.
Thank u for your posts, but if people sell on markets around London for the price of £1 ,there must be some place to buy cheaper, they buy it cheaper and sell for £1. Maybe from Bangladesh,Sri Lanka,China..who knows where..
I need cheaper price to sell for £1.50 wholesale..
I take it you've heard the saying "Pay peanuts, get monkeys", if you're looking to get a quality tee for £0.50p and with that you're going to get repeat custom from your customers - i think we'd all want that info.

Have a look through this list:

And if you do find the source - you can share it here.

Also remember that market traders can be buying end of line stock, liquidated stock or even stolen goods.
