Just make sure everything that's on the original label is on yours; except their name and/or RN #.

Ok thanks!
What do you mean by RN number or full corporate name? so you mean i can just put my brand name and not the RN number?
No, it needs to be the full corporate name that is registered with your state, not the brand name. So for instance, you would use "Winterfresh LLC." And yes, the LLC needs to be included to satisfy the FTC requirement. You're probably better off just applying for the RN number. It's free and easy to get.

Last question pretty much would be

If the company i bought from doesn't put an RN number how do i get it?
Etc

And is it a model number or no?

Thanks for the help

It's pretty rare to find a blank shirt supplier that does not include an RN number on their labels.

But you probably should not be using their RN number. If you re-label the garment, you should use your own RN number.

Here's a link to the online application:
https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/textilern/wrnreq$rn.call_rn?p_mode=INS

And is it a model number or no?
No, it's an identification number so consumers can track the manufacturer responsible for the garment. You don't need a separate number for each of your products. You only need one number for your company to use on all garments you re-label.

You don't need it anyway. You have to use your own if you are relabeling. Or, as Tim said, your full company name. You can not use the original RN#.

Ok thanks, so i am basically doing 1 or the other

Some shirts i buy have all the info on them already and i just put my company name on there on top instead of theres

I have to actually have my OWN RN number? I am not the manufacture of the shirt though i just buy it blank and basically put my design/logo and relabel with my brand

My company name is the same as the brand so isnt it just fine if i just put that as my tag basically and not put the rn number? or what do you think

Thanks alot for helping me out with the info , you and Tim.
If your business is registered with the state as an LLC or Corp, that suffix needs to be included on the label with your company name.

In the time it takes you to keep coming back to this thread, you could already have the RN number. Just fill out the form, which takes less then 3 minutes. And the FTC will e-mail the number in a day or two.
Is the RN# the same as EIN (employer ID #)???

or seller's permit #???
No. All three of those are separate.
