Hello guys! We are just about to start our business and I just have a couple of questions about the designs.

Would it be okay if we put designs like Megaman, Zelda, or any other well known characters? I mean would I be violating any laws if I do that?

hi, i think there will be a problem with all characters which are patented or registered trademark of any company as stated by law specially if you are intending to make profit of it.

Oh really? That's a shame. Because here in the Philippines there a lot of T shirts with copyrighted characters on them as designs like, megaman, simpsons etc. I never thought that selling them without permission would be illegal though. That's also a shame because we have a lot of ideas regarding those characters. Oh well, back to the drawing board. Thanks much for the reply. Appreciate it! XD

I actually know of some medium-sized clothing brands that do this, they even use rock bands. I think they get noticed sometimes, but usually they don't. Unless you are as big as F&H or Zara or something. They actually have kiosks in malls, so don't worry about it too much.

Do you have suppliers already?

The reality is, everybody in the Philippines is doing it including our Asian neighbors. Just don't get caught.
