You can file an amendment to change the business name. But it may not really be necessary. You can still operate a separate brand name under your existing business name. You just need to use your business name for official purposes, like invoices, etc.

I registered with the state, got my license, EIN, etc....except at the time, I didn't have a brand or business name yet....so I just registered everything under my first and last name.
Once I finalize my brand/business name. Can I change the name at any time???

You can just add another name on your reseller permit. It's ok to have multiple names.

Contact your secretary of state and they can guide you thru your state requirements. I did something simular and I was told thet you need an individual business license but could use the same LLC with a dba.
depending on your state if you file an ammedment it will cost you. I'm in FL and I think it cost me $125. But if you do it before May 1st it is free 
Yes, You can meet the authority of your area and ask them what you want they will gives you the best line, how to do this.
