I've looked at the online manual and I cannot find any documentation on moving the printer. I see a bar on one side that could be the handle, and 2 hand locations on the other side, but not sure if the bar is to be used to carry it.

Just want to make sure before I move this thing where I'm supposed to grab on to it at.

I don't believe consideration in design was given to moving the 541 in terms of hand grips etc. We normally center the moving parts and pick it up from the front and back. I have a stand with rollers so the machine has really only been moved a couple times when we took it to major events.

Only reason I questioned the bar was because we use to own a Brother 416 single head embroidery machine that was a beast and it had similar bars on the sides that were "not" to be used as handles. Anyway, we used the bar to unload it from the truck, now I need to get it down a flight of stairs and I have to tip it to do this and put it on a dolly on one of the ends... I think I'll call Brother tomorrow and see what else I need to check before tipping or going any further.

Yes the bar is for carrying the Gt-541 we've done it many times.
