Carpet sew out

I like this design , embroidery on a carpet , low pile with some black applique in the design.

How do you hoop/clamp the carpet, and what needles are you using?

I clamp with some large aligator clamps to hold the carpet to the embroidery arms, I raise the table up to support the weight of the carpet and i use 80/12 sharp needles. I also try to use FILL stitches as much as possible.
