Hi all! Hoping for help. I’m doing a cap. Six letters offset to the left side on the cap. The beginning of the word is 1/8” lower than the last letter. It’s sewing uphill. How do I get the last letter flush with the first?

It sounds like a hooping issue.
If you really can't get the cap hooped straighter in the frame you may have to digitize the letters on a slight slope to compensate for the way the cap hoops.

Also, you should check to make sure you're sewing the letters center out. Even though it's on one side of the cap, you might be pushing the lettering. Also, as Alison says, check your hooping.

It's definitely not sewing from the center of the letter out. Could you explain a little why that makes a difference? Total newbie here.

Not each letter. The word. For example: if you are embroidering CRAPPY", you should sew "PPY" left to right and then sew "ARC" right to left. Remember, all embroidery on caps should be center out and bottom to top.
