Can't ungroup Design in corel x4

Look at the toolbar after you highlight your image.

Does the trace bitmap option appear? if it does then it was saved as jpeg.

It could have become corrupted, try the backup copy.

I designed a business card in x4, saved the work on several occasions. Kept saving, when I went to print nothing happened,so I closed and reopened the project and found everything a jumbled mess. I never grouped the image but it is now grouped. I don't have the image locked and it won't break apart or ungroup. Sorry for not getting back sooner but I got layedup for a little bit. Fatkat you are right it must be a jpeg, the trace bitmap is showing even though it has a cdr extension. Dave it must be corrupted. Both versions are the same. Angel I had 6 layers and thay looked fine till the next day when I was going to layout and print. The last time I opened the file 4 objects where barely on the page, and I can't nothing with it. I guess I will have to start from scratch. Thanks all for your input.
