heres my ongoing dilema for a long long time..

using: mac, printing from illustrator cs4,epson R1800, epson ink.

Print setting:Illustrator determines color (cs4)
sRGB IEC61966-2.1
Relative colorimetric
(my print varies little if at all when changing these print settings)

i have recently discovered my colors print way more accurate when saving my file as RGB. But!, only in the (borderless letter) setting. Problem is, it doesnt print the size or placement accurately on the page.

Size and placement is accurate if i DONT choose (borderless) but!, the colors are way too saturated and look nothing like my intended image.

If i dont figure this out soon im about to give up on the "Ink" part of tee shirts and stick to vinyl "cutting." so Help!

No i havnt color profiled my monitor. I just do a few jobs on the side so i havnt gotten that in depth. I did calibrate my monitor but it had subtle changes and my blacks and dark grays were still looking good on the monitor but printed dark/saturated.
