Hello, and thank you in advance for any help!

Can you normally iron a shirt that has an easyweed or thermoflex heat pressed design on it?

Does the iron affect the design at all? Will it melt it, or can you just iron right over it?

I want to be sure to give proper care instructions to my customers.

Thank you!!!

An iron is not going to typically be any hotter than the heat press that you would originally use to press the heat transfer (300-320 degrees F). However you should tell them to avoid direct contact with the iron to any print, (tranasfer or ink)

I would tell them to place another shirt or fabric over the transfer or print area when ironing.
I have smeared a screen printed shirt before with direct contact with an iron. Always best to cover the area and iron over.
