I marked up in your questions above.Hi folks, I'm pretty new here. I didn't feel like going through the long list of threads so here's my question:
Can the Epson NX510 All in 1 be used for sublimation printing?
I need to know if I can transform my printer (nx510) into a sublimation printer and if I can achieve this through a CISS.
Please reply if you've used this printer for sublimation and any other relevant information regarding what inks/transfer paper are best used with this machine.
Any Epson piezo electric printers can do sublimation (all Epson desktop models are piezo).
The inks are universal between models that are 4 color.
Question is do you have or can you get an ICC profile for that model and ink vendors brand?
*Also, is it worth setting this up seeing as this is an older model printer..?
Probably no. These low end Epson models are so inexpensive ... why not start with a brand new printer?
What if it ceases to work one day..could the CISS be used with another Epson model?*
CIS and refill cart have chips, those chips can be common on some printers, the way to determine that is to look at the OEM carts Epson offers on their website and see across what models those same OEM carts work on.
Having said that ... the other printers that the CIS or refillable carts could work on are likely older models also that are out of production.
Thanks!!![]()
