Silk screen the sublimation ink onto sublimation paper instead of using a printer?
Our sales reps keep telling us that we should use sublimation printing but do not want to have to take the time to print out the film using our s l o w printer. We already have a heat transfer that we rarely use. Can I reasonably silk screen sublimation ink?
I am only a screen printer so I really don't know much about the process.
Yes you can screen print dye sublimation inks, but not the ink jet type. I only know of one company in the US that sells screen printing dye sub and that is us sublimation, but I am sure that there are others as well.
