Can I use Pigment Ink w/ HP Deskjet?

So I'm thinking about getting into the t-shirt business. Nothing major, just as a small side thing and I already have 2 HP Deskjet 2050 printers but from reading through the forums I've learned that dye inks are bad and pigment inks are good... So I was wondering could I just buy some pigment ink to go in my HP cartridges and still make decent quality shirts? Thanks in advance for any answers♥

If you put pigment ink in dye carts, it will turn to a gel.
