Will the paper leave a visible film on the shirt on areas of the paper that are left blank? I'm using the JPSS paper for lights. I know the dark has to be cut out.

Probably. To what extent will depend on the shirt colors.

Yes it will leave a window. I would only do it if you have a contour cutter.
