I was impressed with quality of print of course, but the deal decision was made after I talked to the owner and others (not employed by Neoflex) at ISS Long Beach.

When I went to Philly for training, the good impression of the company I had was reinforced by everyone I had contact with.

Any organization flows from the top down. Mr. Peter's philosophy about business is demonstrated by family in the plant. I have no doubt I will have great service in the future.

I'm sure there are other companies that can provide the same. But the mix of a great product and service I think I made excellent choice.

It's a great machine. Daily maintenance goes with any DTG. We've been so busy with out other printing processes that we haven't had a lot of work for it, so we've had some issues but we are starting to print every day - even if we don't have jobs due, just to keep the ink flowing and have less issues.

Is there a lot of maintenance involved? Have you had any issues with your machines? I am hesitant because it is based off an Epson and they are fairly new.
any ink jet type of printer will have maintenance and time where a channel stops printing. air lock, blockage, dirty capping station, empty cartridge, etc.

Epson has been around since the early 80's, so i'm not sure what you mean about being "fairly new". the NeoFlex is based of the Epson 4880 which has been around since around 2008, so again, not "new".

the Neo wins awards for print quality. you have a flexible print area that maxes out at 17" wide by 42" long. anything you can fit under the printer, you can print. plus you have the BEST customer service available with the TIGERS, led by our NeoFather. finally, you have the NeoFamily around here who are willing to help you all along the way.

The two biggest positives of the Neoflex?

1. TIGERS support
2. NeoRIP Pro

#1 is simple to understand.

#2 is impossible to explain unless you have had an experience with every other RIP. The colors are gorgeous, and the ink usage is minimized for a huge cost savings.

There's a reason why the hardware hasn't had any major modification in years -- while the RIP and included profiles are constantly reworked to give the printer an edge.

It is not based off of the new Epson DTG printer, it is based off of proven Epson printers.

Depends on what you call "a lot" as far as maintenance is concerned. Yes, there is maintenance, just like there is with any printer and especially with any DTG printer. If you are going to be printing with white ink then that maintenance increases quite a bit, but that is true with ANY DTG printer out there. The NEO has no more maintenance needs than any other DTG printer, probably less than some because of the built in self cleanings.

We have heard that the models based off Epson have lots of issues. (Just what I have heard) I have also heard the printing is slower then some other DTG Printers. Is that your experiences? Personally I like the Neoflex a lot, the other people I work with want a Brother GT-381. I love the way the Neoflex feels and looks once it is printed. The Brother prints felt very heavy which I did NOT like at all. I also wasn't a fan of the how the white looked on the prints I saw from Brother. It was not nearly as bright and crisp as the Neoflex colors. Basically I am trying to find enough pro's about the Neoflex so the people I work with will choose a Neoflex over a Brother.

heard from whom???

just read through the NeoFlex section and see what the problems are. if you find problems look at how they were resolved.

Epson based heads and DuPont inks give the brightest prints out there from what i've seen. Brother is a good company, but the prints off the Neo will beat the Brother every time. oh, and our consumables are MUCH cheaper which equals more $$$ in your pocket. not to mention the price for the printer itself. if speed is an issue, just buy 2 Neo's.

The PROS: Customer Service, Print Quality, Customer Service, etc...NEOFAMILY SUPPORT TOO

What sold me to NEOFLEX; I went to trade shows and visited all the DTG booths. They would ask what one are you considering? Then they would say "Oh , that one ... that one is bad because of this or that this one is not good because of this or that. They all badmouthed the competition. They sounded like cars salesmen or insurance salesmen. - No offense to any on the board. They still aren't as bad as attorneys.... LOL..
The only one that didn't bad mouth the competition was NEOFLEX. They actually said "that machine is or has good this or that etc..." No negative comments. All they said is take your artwork to all of them (the competition) and have them print it on black. Time it , get a cost for that print etc.. then come back to us (NEOFLEX) and let us print it for you. Then compare. Simple selling point but effective. I did what they recommended and I have had my NEOFLEX since Sept 13 and Love IT. Gets me extra jobs from existing customers and I throw in samples of work to new screen or embroidery customers and viola --more work.

Tigers are awesome. Only used them twice so far . For minor stuff ( Chip not reading etc..)

NEOFLEX is family.
The board members do the right thing for each other with advice , tips, and suggestions. Nowhere else do you see that. Check the forum.

Cons: That I don't have a NEOSOLV

I have seen the complaints on a couple different forums. I also had someone warn me against Epson based printers at the ISS show in Atlantic City (Just a couple weeks ago.)

I am really hoping I can convince everyone I work with NeoFlex is the way to go. Almost everything I have seen and heard about them has been positive.

We make our final decision this upcoming Monday. =/
