Can anyone tell me about the quality of the shirts Cafepress uses? I understand they use a digital transfer process with heat. How does this process compare to others? My products will have 90% text with a simple logo.
thats doubtfull. Since there printing all of their shirts one of a kind, they wont be screen printing the shirts. They will probably be using some sort of printer that goes right from computer onto shirt with special inks. Similar to an inkjet printer. (thats my guess anyway)
The new CafePress printing method won't necessarily help with DARK shirts, but I remember them saying in a chat that it WILL allow for a lot more lighter color choices, like blue, sand, etc. (They only have the jr. ringer, and the bright yellow and lime colors now.)
And... they are working on both flock printing AND embroidery - one of the two methods might even be available by the end of the year, rumor has it. Each can be used on dark colors.
