Okay well im going to start buying my own equipment instead of waiting for someone to make my shirts. Well first before i buy my stuff i wanna know if it good for a basic beginner setting.

1. First the printer i was looking at was EPSON workforce 1100 with CISS and pigment ink from REFILLABLE CARTRIDGE; CISS CIS INK SUPPLY SYSTEM; REFILL INK; GENUINE CARTRIDGE FOR HP EPSON CANNON; PRINTERS
what do u prefer?

2. The heat press i was looking at is this here

3. The vinyl cutter im looking for is nothing expensive but something that'll get the job done and with the contour cut which will help me alot. Vinyl Cutter Link

4. I havent done any research on transfer paper, im looking for the best transfer paper in the market and the good quality but cheap. Theres a local vinyl shop which i already have the catalog already so im not worrying about that right now.

It'll be great if you guys could help me out since im new to all this.
I already seen enuff to know how thing work but looking for the right advice.

I almost got the Epson WF 1100 but after asking around it seems the 1400 is more popular. I use the BlackMax ink for it.

As for your heat press, be careful of the presses on eBay. That may be priced well but think about what would happen if you had an issue. Is it backed by the company? Any warranties? A dollar saved today can cost you more tomorrow.

US Cutter is a good company so that should be okay.

How do you associate good quality and cheap in the same sentence? Number 4 was a little confusing to me but i'll say this, I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for.

I hope this helps. Good luck in your endeavors.

Also new to the Industry and been reading and watching a lot. Planning on buying my first set of equipment soon. Search has been my friend.

Hobby? Business?

Hobby - you pretty much can settle w/ cheap
Business - invest in quality

PRINTER: I think you got it good with the Printer. A lot would attest to the EPSON 1100. Ink-wise, there's Cobra Ink. Bit pricey, but good feedback with how it compares with OEM inks and great Support. There's Best Blanks ArmurInk too.

Few others I Googled: cisink.com, inkjetcart.us, inksystem.com. Though haven't read so much about them

HEAT PRESS: US vs China. Performance. Durability. Support. Heard a lot of horror stories with China made machines (I think there would be good experiences as well) but overall, there's the always the reliable Stahl's, HIX, Geo Knight Presses. Been reading lot of good too with ProWorld Heat Presses.

CUTTER: Top Brands are Graphtec & Roland but Expensive. Alternative I read is GCC Expert 24. Depending also on the size of designs you would want to do, Graphtec makes a smaller cutters (8, 10, 12) - CAMEO.

Will try to look for the threads and post it but search and browse the different section and you pretty will find it too. You can start here in case you haven't seen it:

Good luck!
