I did a search, but didn't come up with anything. Really hoping someone can give me a quick answer, since it's a really silly question. But it's late, and I'm either just silly-tired or blind. I have a car in photoshop that I have made three colors (pink, black, and white) that I will be printing in three colors and it still looking realistic (allowing the colors to fade into each other with halftones). Anyway, that's neither here nor there... my issue is that when I select a little section to make black when doing the seperating part, my brush all of a sudden is "spraying". I know I'm not making a whole lot of sense... but I'm using a hard brush and 100% opacity and flow, and it is still slightly transparent and is actually spraying outside the selection like the airbrush option was on, even though it isn't. Am I just losing it? I really do just want a solid black fill inside the area I'm painting on, and cannot seem to get it. Should be simple right? What am I overlooking?

If you have created a selection of some kind, you would just fill the selection, not paint in it. Also, you must have some type of brush dynamics turned on to get the results you mention even with a hard opaque brush.

Hahahahahaaa. You are correct. It's definitely too late for me to be trying to do this. Thank you so much for pointing me in the direction of the "fill" tool. I knew that... and for some reason it just slipped my mind! I really do have to laugh at myself for such things!

Bloodshot eyes, cloudy mind lead to wasted effort and poor results. Sleep good for providing clear eyes, clear mind and superior results grasshopper. (Said with Chinese accent)
