Ok so I'm a total newbie when it comes to dye sublimation . The question I have is in regards to thebrothers mfc-j485dw printer . The question is this will I need to modify it with an ciss or not . I've done some research but haven't found a clear answer some say yes others say not that you can simply use the large refillable ink cartridges that's available add on for this printer . Since I couldn't find a clear answer I figured I'd post here in hopes someone here might use the same printer or at least have the answer . I'd hate to buy a printer I couldn't use thanks in advance for any input that will help me out

Most choose Ricoh or Epson printers for dye sub printing. What ever printer you choose it is a good idea
to make sure someone makes dye sub ink for it and has an ICC profile for that printer as well. Hope this helps.

Have you found CIS and refillable cartridges for that printer? Don't buy the printer if you can't find refillables.
