Does anyone have or know if the larger format bro printer is a good printer ? I want to do heat press on tshirts the size I need 10x14 image printers which the brother printer sells.

You don't hear about it much here. Which model are you referring to? Pigment ink?

For inkjet, the favorite here is Epson, who also has large format capability, pigment ink, & capability for continuous ink setup.

yes I noticed that the bro printer is not popular I will go with the refurbished epson

I too was looking at the Brother printer & dicided to purchase one & try it out. I bought the
MFC-6490CW, it scans & prints up to 11"X17". It also has individual ink cartriges & has the option of high yield ink cartriges. I did a quick test yesterday on opaque paper & it did good, the ink did not run & the color was acceptable. Right after I printed it I applied it to a shirt with an iron & thru it the washer, it had minimal fading & held up good. I'm not sure if the ink is pigment ink but it did not smear on photo paper when I put water on it.
