Hi Guys
I am considering buying a Brother GTX DTG Printer.
In Australia it costs $1500 just to purchase CMYK and 2 White bags.
Im wondering if anyone has tried or knows about running Dupont or other inks in this machine that are non Genuine?
Any info would be very appreciated.

GTX machine is so new that I doubt anyone had a chance to try it. Also, I doubt anyone is going to do that during warranty period. Maybe in few years you might see other options. GTX inks bags also have chips.

DuPont inks are cheaper in US also... About 0.15 per cc for DuPont vs 0.33 per cc for GTX. But in my honest opinion, it’s worth every penny.

If you are looking to use cheaper inks, probably you need another brand of machine. There are several options based on Epson heads.
