Haven't been able to search out the answer so I figured I'd ask.

I'm assuming the answer is yes, but does anyone know if the new GraffiTee will also be able to print on Chucks similar to the 541??

Thanks in advance.

In theory, the answer is yes. Both printers use the same type of inks and they use the same platen setup. You just have to either get the platen or create your own.

In addition, it is important to mention that Converse and Chuck Taylor are trademarked names that can't be used in the promotion of the printed products unless you have the permission of the trademark holder.

Could you say "Cool Design" shoe printed on Converse Chuck Taylors? Similar to saying all designs printed on "Hanes" for shirts? Or do you also need permission from Hanes to mention it ?

Hanes and Gildan and Anvil etc. are sold as Blanks.
specifically for the promo biz. not a retail item , per se.

Printing on Roots Hoodies for example.
We are a Roots dealer and we are bound to what we can embroider or print or advertise on there Retail oriented garment. written contract.
Some Retail oriented companies do not like their stuff defaced. (like Hooters restaurant logo) or violence etc..
So advertising their product being printed with your graphics and having their logo combined on said garment with Your designs. Is sometimes frowned upon.
It is touchy.. and if you are big printing company on web, you'll receive a letter explaining why and where to appear for your turn to explain.
It is very common to receive such letter on very expensive intimidating stationary.
