when bringing samples (along with line sheet etc.) to retail stores, would it be a bad look to bring in samples that have been washed/worn already?

i can see it being unprofessional, but then on the flip side, maybe if it has been through the laundry, it shows how it looks with some wear and tear, maybe shows the durability of the printing?

I don't see many benefits of bringing something used/worn in to a retailer especially if you are trying to get your product in to their store. They aren't going to be selling the product pre-worn so I wouldn't display it to them in that fashion.

With that said I don't have much experience with other retailers but if it were me and someone wanted to get their line in my store I would definitely think twice if they cant even bother to bring in new product to show me.
