Not sure if this is as big a deal as it is to our shop, but we just found out that you can wash out 'burns' from the pretreat.
We use a gas dryer, and sometimes on the second pass the garment gets discoloured from the pretreat. I already had a replacement ordered for a green shirt that burned, and decided to throw it in the wash to see what happened.
Boom. Burn gone. I purposely burnt some test shirts of different colours and got the same result. So I guess if you're willing to do some laundry on the job, burns aren't really an issue.
Thought I'd share. We don't burn a ton of shirts, but it's frustrating when it happens.
