I am brand new to the T-shirt business, and I have just a few questions for anyone that can help me. 1) I would like my business to be internet based - what do I need to have from a legal standpoint to start. 2) Do I need some sort of copyright for designs, or is any design idea fair game? (obviously except for brand names) 3) I was thinking about outsourcing the printing and what not to start off with. Is that plausible for just starting up?

Hi Patrick, welcome to the forums. If you use the search box on the top of the page and type in business or legal, or business license, you will come up with some good past info that has been posted about how to get started.

3) yes, lots of people outsource their printing instead of doing it all on their own.
