Brand new to the game

I'm a 20 yr old photographer from New Jersey. About two years ago I launched The Raritan Gallery a visual collective of artists with our own small apparel line. I've had a lot of interest in our shirts but because of manufacturing costs from printing in Burbank California I haven't been able to gain a lot of traction selling my shirts and making a profit. I think I'd like to pursue a build. I'm a smart guy and a quick learner. So I'm looking for a little guidance from people a little more experienced than myself to build a reliable DTG machine that can print white.
