Hi all! I am looking to get into the silk screening business. In doing my research many questions I google have been answered from this message board. Lol. So I figured I would register and ask for a little advice.
I have a print shop going out of business very close to me and they have a package deal on Craigslist. Can anyone give me feedback as to wether they believe this is a good/great deal? Here is the link ***Screen Printing Equipment-Complete Start-up Kit***.
Like I said, I am COMPLETELY green but have financial backing from a buddy of mine who I also work for as this would be a compliment to his business and a benefit to him.
Is this a good beginner set up(want room to expand but not go all gun ho on something I don't need). Doing my research on Ryonet's site it looks as though I'd spend maybe $4000-$4500 to get everything new so it seems like a good deal.
Anyway, sorry about the long post or if this wasn't a good thread to ask for advice! Thanks in advance!

It's a good deal for starting out. Wish I had room for the 6/2 press but I had to settle for the 4/1. There is a big learning curve for screen printing, but if you take the time to watch the DVD series from Ryonet you won't have any problems. I say go for it. That press looks brand new.
