When I purchase rolls of vinyl from Stahl's, they come secured with this thin blue tape that is low adhesive. Does anyone know what this tape is called so I can order a roll or two.

Same thing we use to keep vinyl in place sometimes.

Interesting.. it does look the same.. Not sure why they would use more expensive thermal tape just to keep a vinyl roll rolled up?? Thanks for the reply.

The adhesive used is the important part of it.
The film or paper it is made of will vary, but look on ebay for "Low Tack Protection Tape"

I would recommend, "low tack" painter tape.

I use the Dollar store tan tape. Doesnt hold to hard for me and just enough to keep it in place. I fold one end over to create a tab to pull.

We use a 1 inch wide roll of transfer tape. Its 300ft so it lasts a long time and works great and is super cheap. Great to roll up a large print etc. for clients as well.

We also use "clips" that hold the material rolled up. These are not what we buy but look very much like them. Since images are not working i posted a link to what they look like below.
