Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what strength ammonia should be used to unclog a blocked print head? I've seen references to 'household strength', but I was looking for a percentage?

Yes, but it's expensive compared to straight ammonia.

Your best bet is warm distilled water nothing more....

I will also say warm water through the head or very hot water on the capping station go to cobras web site to their support section. There is a few techniques there that work very well. I have unplugged heads with sublimation ink that have sat a long time. The plug is 99% of the time is on the bottom of the head so the soaking the head method with hot water on the capping station works best.

I use 50% distilled water and 50% Simple Green cleaner found in grocery stores or Walmart.
