Hey all,

I have a friend who is very new to screen printing introduce me to Blast One-Shot screen opener (from Chemical Consultants Inc.). He swears by it, but I'm wary of introducing a chemical I'm not sure of to my production process.

I did a search and didn't really find anything.

Does anyone have experience with this? Would you recommend it? Have you experienced any health issues due to it?

I'm not familiar with this brand but screen opener is a fast drying solvent that dissolves plastisol ink to unclog the mesh on press. You'll only use it once in awhile in small applications and it will evaporate in a few seconds.

It's similar to on press color change wash - a little stinky so don't huff it or get it in your eyes but you shouldn't be using more than just a little spray at a time.
