Hello everyone here at t-shirt forums.com I am in need of some info regarding which type of t-shirt to buy for heat press.I have a vinyl plotter and plan on extending my sign biz with selling t-shirts also .I will probably use the Siser vinyl or the thermo heat transfer vinyl to start out with and wasn't sure if I should get 100% cotton ,and a place online to buy t-shirts in bulk for a reasonable price?Any info would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
Gary

SanMar, TSC, S&S, Bodek are all ok.
Thanks binki for the info for suppliers for t-shirts.Would you want to start out with a 60/40 cotton/poly t-shirt?
thanks,
Gary
Nobody has no suggestions on which kinda shirt at which would be good for thermo (brand)heat press vinyl ?
Thank you,
Gary
Do you mean Thermoflex? If so, many fabrics are ok with the exception of nylon.

Yes it is ThermoFlex heat transfer vinyl, sorry im new to the heat vinyl and to t-shirt making
We've been using Gildan Ultra Cotton (G200/G2000) with Easyweed and Glitter and are pleased with the results. Why not sample some 100% and some blends to see which you like best?

That's a great idea.I'll experiment with some different t-shirts like you mentioned and see what works for me
Also, check Wholesale Blank T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Hoodies, Tank Tops and more and www.jonestshirts.com. They have weekly specials that can make for attractive prices. Don't forget to factor in shipping.

I also check the 99 Cent Store and the Dollar Store when I'm there because I've occasionally found Fruit of the Loom and Anvil tees for, you guessed it, 99¢ or $1.

For ladies' style Elena likes the Next Level N3900, though be aware it runs small.
I like jiffyshirts myself.. and everyone say there high but maybe most are ordering 500+ shirts and getting a heck of a discount at these other sites but when im comparing prices Jiffy is always the cheapest.Ive gotten the Fruit of the loom HD shirts so far ive ordered about 30 total from them.. always get in 2 days also and $5.95 shipping if the order is under $50 is great
Ive only used the siser easyweed so far its always worked great on these 100% cotten shirts
