Hey all, just as a point of curiosity. Why is it that bamboo and hemp blank shirts are so relatively expensive to buy? Is it the manufacturing process? Suppy and demand? Logistics? Speciality/novelty factor?

Just trying to understand how its faster, easier and cheaper to grow but still costs so much more?

Also, we've dug around a bit on here and read about the various suppliers here in Canada but is there anything new/hidden out there that someome wants to share for sourcing?
Thanks!

Other than Jerico, I'm not sure about other Bamboo shirts.

They are made in Canada, so they are going to cost more. They are only approx $2 more than a ring spun cotton.

It may be harder to work with as a material, and there is almost certainly far less of it made and less people making it than cotton.
Hmmm, on thr site they have them listed at 15+. Even over say AA, thats 5 more.

I love the idea that theyre made in Canada, I think even Ontario since thats close to home for me.

But theres also very limited colour options, it kind of forced me to keep looking...
I shoild add though, compared to other prices ive seen, thats a steal!
