So, I'm totally new to cutting. But, after getting my Puma II initially set up, I made 90+ nice looking stickers as well as a few shirt transfers. Now, it isn't cutting right. I can barely get it to cut. I've been trying a variety of blade pressures and heights. I don't have VLCD working right now, so I can only adjust blade offset in certain increments. As far as the blade goes, I'm using the one that came with the cutter, but it seemed to be working well up until today.

Here are some test I did, as your can see, some corners are peeling, and the bottom of the square isn't even cutting through.

For what it is worth, I cut this out a week ago with no problems. Different vinyl, but I made stickers yesterday morning with no problem. Can the blade get damaged? I just don't see how I can go from smooth sailing to this so quickly...

EDIT- Well shoot.... since I posted this I have now lost my blade... I take out my holder, sitting in my chair, go to take it out, and next thing I know it isn't there. Nor anywhere I can see. Maybe that is God telling e to buy a new one? Then troubleshoot with a new blade.

Maybe you guys can help with VLCD? My is I got with the cutter would not work with my computer. I downloaded drivers online, but cannot register with GCC because it is used and was already registered once. I tried emailing them, but got no response.

Can I download it elsewhere?

On my XP box I just copied the VLCD.exe off the DVD and dropped it in the directory with Great Cut. Added a shortcut to the desktop and done.

Just updated the same Netbook (Yep, I do all my cutting with a Toshiba Netbook) to Windows 7 and the VLCD works fine.

Want to send me a copy of the file? That's the problem, my disc won't run on either of my computers and can't download the file until they allow me to register my cutter...
