I need a blacker black than I'm getting with Hi-Temp inks. The setting
I'm currently using is RGB R-0, G-0, B-0, but after it's pressed on a Vapor shirt it appears to be a dark dark gray. I need something richer and deeper.

I printed out an RGB color chart and pressed it on scrap poly material and it looks like R-25, G-25, B-25 might be darker. Has anyone found a better black?
Thanks

Go to their website and download the ICC profile for the hi-temp ink for your printer and then use that setting. There is a how-to video that shows how to set up the printer. My blacks are black not gray but again you need the correct color profile for your printer/ink combo.

Already did that when I set up my system.
I print a lot of car and truck images and the tires in particular are
not coming out black enough. I also print as big as I can get on 13x19
Texprint paper, which makes the black objects show up more.

I had a problem over December where my blacks were not black enough. I do most of my print setups in photoshop as we specialize in fishing apparel. Therefore the need for raster images is vital.

I changed my black hex code to #231f20. Its looks grey when designing, but when it prints and transfers it comes out pitch black.

Kind Regards

Use CMYK, not RGB. Also, the "black" ink is really not black. As you've learned, it's more of a dark gray. You need to create an additive black using the other colors in addition to the black itself. What % CMYK you use will depend on your ICC profile. Print swatches of differing CMYK values and choose the richest black. Also disable color management at the driver level.

Some good info i just ordered the Cobra system after talking with them and telling them i will be printing a lot of black and the blacks need to be very black and they say that is not a problem.

I got the printer in today hope to get the inks in tomorrow.

I will be using a lot of black. red and yellows.
