I'm having trouble finding out why my black print has an outline look to it. It caused the fine detail to blend in and I lost the detail. I did a test print and it came out sharp and clean with fine lines, but when I put in one the shirt all the other colors came out sharp except the black. Even on the large font you can see some sort of outline that surrounds the whole image. I wish I knew how to upload a photo to help explain my dilemma. Please help. the new guy.

It could be a
Possibility if you're doing more than one one color - that inks are sticking to the black screen (I'm assuming it's the final screen) so when you start the next run it's fuzzy. You could be putting down too much ink on other colors. If its super fine detail you may need to flash your colors before laying down the black. I'm not a veteran but this has been my experience!

Use butt registration (no trap,) reduce your inks so they are thinner, less sticky and less likely to creep. Be sure your registration is dead on. Taking these steps should drastically reduce or even eliminate ink creep. For a crisper looking print, as Lionel said, flash the colors before you lay down the black. I do this a lot of the time. Even though it will take longer to run the job. I like knowing that I've done everything possible to produce quality prints. The additional time will pay off in customer satisfaction and resulting word of mouth referrals.

I flashed between all color changes. and insured no other ink was sticking to the screens. although I do think that my ink was a bit to thick. as for uploading picks I don't get that option it just asks for a fancy media option for video uploads. thank you all for your help.
