Black nozel comes out perfect then starts printing lines towards the end of job. after i get a perfect nozel i will print a shirt. towards the end it will print lines the black ink only. i will do a nozel check and the black is bad. i changed the encoder strip and capping station i dont seem to no the problem. can someone please help me asap. 248-414-5550 thanks mason

Dual cmyk or cmyk & white? When you say the nozzle check is bad, does that mean missing lines, or jagged lines out of line? How big is the design? How far does it make it before the banding starts?

Can you post pics of exactly what it is doing near the end of the shirt?

Sounds like what you are saying is after printing a bit you get banding or drop out lines in the art in black color only the others are ok. Wiper has been mentioned. Maybe ink starvation. Or partially clogged line and or picking gunk up out of the bottom of ink bottle. What bulk system do you have? Where is the pickup line at, very bottom like touching. If you are picking up settled ink you can shake well. Pour ink thru a coffee filter, for lack of anything else, clean and purge lines, ink bottle, carts or dampers. Refill reprime. Head clean and nozzle check

hi there are no dampers on this. i print a lot of shirts on this machine. i will have a perfect nozel check on black. when it starts printing a job half way through it it will start printing lines. then i will do a nozel check and its bad. only black. then i will clean it a few times and a perfect nozel. its weird.

Still sounds like ink starvation. The cleaning is charging the ink supply.

Is the design supposed to have a solid black all the way down? Can you post a jpeg of the design? It seems you might be missing some other info in the design as well. Have you tried printing a 10x10 solid black box? What does it look like?

You should check the breather tube on your black bulk ink bottle to make sure it's not clogged. If it is clogged or even slightly clogged it would cause an ink starvation problem. Try unscrewing the bottle cap and just let it rest on top of the bottle and see if that improves your ink flow. If it does then clean out the breather tube or replace it.

i tried multipe designs still same result, its not a starvation issue i dont think. i get a perfect nozel all the tubes are clean breather whole clean. the only thing i think it could be is the head. it stops spraying black. i never seen this before in two years.

How old are the tubes?? we had the same problem when our ink lines were getting older. they work ok for nozzle checks not perfect but ok..then would be good then print one shirt and die on the next..
