Our Brother GT-541's black in head has suddenly stopped printing ink. All the other colors work fine. And the the black ink cartridge is full. Could it be clogged?

How do I fix this problem? I've run head cleanings & everything, but the black ink literally prints NOTHING.

Mine did the same thing..changed printhead and still nothing.

I managed to fix the problem. I had to run a head cleaning for the black in ink using the "Intital" cleaning option.

From the Main menu, go to Head Cleaning, choose Initial, and then choose which color you want. In my case, it was black.

The "Initial" head cleaning option will only work if the ink cartridge is full. Basically, it just runs ink thru the entire tube like when the printer was first set up. Fixed it up.

Had awesome issue where ran outta ink and helper did 2 head cleans when black was out and was printing nodda.

2 head cleans normal and a power made it like new : )

Gonna replace the tubing to the current setup. The older machines have a different tubing.

Wasn't fuse or anything mechanical than?
