You're talking about the actual printing process for the design of the shirt or how to prep it for printing? I'm not the most knowledgable printer so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a halftone print right? You take an image and use a software to create a halftone of it... someone else can elaborate a bit more on the process, but I believe that is the simple answer.
