just to clarify i would like to know are ( bitmap & raster ) the same exact thing that means the samething just a different word for saying it...or are they somehow different....if so how do they differ ?
What can be confusing is that there is a common file format (.bmp) on the PC that refers to a raster file, BUT in a program such as Photoshop, it refers to a format that is strictly black and white, no shades of grey (or color for that matter). But a lot of people use them interchangeably.
