Have a Voyager. Seems like a good little machine. Today for the first time ever upon start up, the carriage comes forward and it gets just to about the end of its frame limit and starts to make a grinding noise. It doesn’t move once it gets in place, just continues grinding.

I’m not used to Happy machines, I’ve work with Tajima and Barudan for 6 years prior and they’ve never done this sort of thing.

Anyone have a bit of an idea of what could be going wrong at the start up?

happy machines are solid metal and chain machines, perhaps a gear grinding on another or a broken shaft
