Hi guys

Having replaced a my printhead I carried out the bi-directional alignment process. I've become quite an expert at this and get through it quite quickly compared to my first few attempts :D

When I get things spot on and having saved all the settings when the printer's in the READY state, I then pull the power plug out the back of the printer (not the base), count to 30 and reconnect. Unfortunately this un-does all the settings I've previously saved.

At present my only option is not to switch the printer off!

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks for the tip Jinxter. First time I've heard that method but I'll certainly try it when I've finished printing this evening.

Just been reading the instructions for using the LFP Remote Panel to carry out b-directional alignment - I use this method. All it says to do is to click 'Save' which I do. This is fine until you switch the printer off when the settings made are lost!

I'm sure the Tigers suggested pulling the plug - need to check.

It seems the PAUSE button is used when you carry out the process from the front panel of the printer.
