I have not seen this question before and was just wondering... What Brand tee shirt do you use or feel has the best results with color & durability when making heat transfers on white T's?
Do you find that the ounce weight of the tee also comes into play as well?
And "overall" which is the Best Transfer paper to use for the soft-hand feel? And do you find that their is a difference in soft-hand feel when using a Teflon or Parchment sheet. I've read where some prefer Teflon over Parchment and "vice versa" as well as a combination of using BOTH... use Teflon with first pressing, then a 5 second press with parchment for a softer feel?

Would like to hear opinions on both Best Tee Brand or preference and Teflon & Parchment preferences, results & uses.

Thanks :D

I like Gildan G5000 with Neehan papers. I don't do any second pressing, but I do use a Teflon sheet on top and bottom, but that is to protect the platen.
Hi Ray, thanks for the info. What kind of Neehan transfer paper do you use... JPSS?? And where do you buy from, are they reasonable in pricing & good customer service? Does this paper provide a "soft-hand" feel to it? Does it have more of a glossy or matte look to the final print as well?

Thanks again

I have several different transfers. Lights, dark's, soft stretch. Also have some laser self weeding for experiments atm.

I purchase most of my stuff from Conde or BestBlanks. I have dealt with Conde for about a year and have been very satisfied. They also help out a lot with questions.

On the paper for light fabrics the image is mirrored so dosen't make a difference, but for dark shirts the image is on top and teflon sheet will make it shinier where parchment paper will give a matte finish which I prefer.
