Best Tear Away Tag T-Shirt blanks?

Which Tee with a Tear Away Tag Is the best In your opinion? We have been using American Apparel for years and love the fit and feel but, we're really over tearing out the tag for our own custom tagless print. We would like to find something comparable but with a tear away tag. We have tried Bella Canvas 3001 and we feel those are a bit too thin. We have also tried Hanes 980 but they shrink more than we would like them too. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

Next Level Apparel, in my opinion, has the best AA 2001 knock off with their 3600, and it has tear away labels. I switched to these during the second bankruptcy and Gildan buyout, and have been very happy with them.

An interesting aside. Have you noticed that sometimes an AA shirt of a given style and size will have side seams, and sometimes it won't? Same style, same size. WTF, right? NL always has side seams, which besides not being randomly weird, makes it easier to line shirts up on press.

ALso, NL 3600 should cost you a bit less than BC 3001 or AA 2001W.
