there is no reason you cant get the detail needed in screen printing. DTG will provide detail but the quality is a lot lower compared to screen printing. you will receive a DTG shirt thinking that looks great but after a wash it becomes faded. I have been to a lot of show and have gotten shirts from just about if not all DTG manufactures and I have never received anything I would feel comfortable selling as a brand. I would although sell as a event shirt as they don't need to hold up as well usually.

if you need more then just a few shirts then sounds like you need to find a new screen printer, just be advised the better screen printers cost more.
