Hello,

I want advice as to which heat press is better in keeping the real temperature indicated. Some Chinese presses say one temperature but when you check with a digital device, the platen temperature can be as much as 50 degrees off. Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think you will find that 16x20 is most popular. I am not familiar with any manufacturer that produces a 16x24. Maybe someone else on the Forum knows of a press that size.

Ok, 16" x 20" ! But which is the best for what I am asking?

Thanks!
We use Geo knight presses and they have a setting for temperature drop. All presses are going to drop a couple degree and then power the heating element till it reaches the temp and then stop and continue the cycle. I believe you can set the Geo knight at 1 degree which should keep it at a constant exact temp.

Keep in mind though...as long as it is cycling on and off with a few degree drop. You should have no issues doing any printing/decorating process.

I like the DK20s and DK20a both are a 16x20 press one is a swing away and the other is a auto open clam shell press. Hotronix is also a good brand as is Hix.
