The epson SP1400 is on sale for $199.99 brand new at Amazon.

I was thinking of snagging it. Can anybody recommend the best inks and cartridges to go with? Is it better than the C120 beside the maximum print size? Thanks.

I just got the refillables from inkjetcarts.us with the heat transfer ink so far I like them they leave less ink on the paper when pressed. If you search there is at least 2 or 3 threads were members have been using clarkia inks that come with the 1400 on JPSS with good results also.

i am about to buy the epson 1400 for my heat transfer paper but i dont know wut kind of inks i should buy. im looking for good quality ink.

Like Hamlettsigns says... Go to inkjetcarts and take a look at their heat transfer inks. If you're not sure, email Ross and he'll respond promptly. These inks work great with JPSS. I've peeled hot after 10 seconds and gotten durable (10 washes so far) prints on 50/50 shirts. I've even gotten down to 8 second peels on back pieces and 5 second peels on smaller pocket size images. Soft and without the polmer window (on birch and white shirts). -Neil

Hey guys, here's a recent thread about different inks for the Epson 1400. I think there are inks from 3 different suppliers discussed in this thread. All for being used with JPSS/Jetprosofstretch.
