I do small tshirts jobs in my house, and bought the 4 screen press from the same vender and have been really happy with it, and the service. I can see where if I was more serious I may want other equipment, but for me the product delivered what was promised.

Hello, I am looking to purchase a "do it yourself" silk screen machine/equipment. I am looking for something for a reasonable price (less than $400).

This was the best I have found so far. DIY Screen Printing Starter Kit | Silk Screening Supplies

Does anyone have any suggestions or reviews for such equipment? Thank you!!

I would wait until you have about $800 and get a used press from one of the established companies (Riley, Ranar, Vastex etc) you will be much happier in the long run. Chances are that the $800 press you buy will still bring $800 when you decide to upgrade. That $400 crap you are looking at won't be worth a nickel in 6 months

I too have the 4-color Ryonet (silkscreensupplies) press. It is by far the best of the low cost presses. I would buy the press and pick and source your accessories as best fits your plans/needs rather than buying the full kit. Do research to determine what mesh size and ink type etc you want to use and buy that, rather than whatever random things are in the kit. For example, Simple Green works fine as a screen degreaser, no need for overpriced "special" screen degreaser from Ryonet (or anyone else).

Used pro equipment would be a better value, but only if you know enough to know what you want and to judge the condition of the equipment--else you could be buying someone else's problem.
