Just looking for the best tutorials for halftones in Illustrator. I'm tired of pasting and cutting each individual dot in order to make the effect.

If you provide a more detailed explanation of what is it that you are trying to do maybe somebody would be able to help you. to print halftones from illustrator all you have to do is go to "output" on the print dialog, select separations and then and select the dot frequency and angle and print. At least that is how it works with PostScript printers. If you don't have a PS printer you will need a RIP software.
