Hi.

I'm looking at purchasing a embroidery for my startup and would appreciate any advice on this as these machines are all new to me. I intend to purchase a used machine is there anything in particular to look out or questions I should be asking?

What is regarded as a high number off hours for a machine?

Im leaning towards a brother vr machine as I can get one for around £2300 and it will do what I require initially and as things develop I may get something larger. Is there anything else on the market that is similar? Does anyone have any recommendations and reviews on this or other machines?

Brother makes a fine machine. I think most embroidery machines will run flat designs well... It's hats and delicate materials that prove to be challenging. A lot of the quality in a sew out will come from the digitizer.

Japan or German manufactured machines are the top of the heap. South Korea after that and don't bother with Chinese made machines.
